FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.   How do you look after them?

Aside from Strip Lashes, with all the other types you should avoid applying mascara on them. Wipe around your eyes to cleanse. Do not rub harshly. You will need to get use to dabbing the lashes. Any harsh rubbing could cause the lashes to come off quicker. Please also avoid oil based make up remover because this will cause  the lashes to come off easier than the expected time. A spoolie brush will be given to you for certain types of lashes. Get into the habit of using the brush every other day in order to detangle and remove any unwanted lashes. Do not pick any stray lashes, your lash artist will remove them when you come in for your Infills.

Q.   Why do I need to have them Infilled?

Your natural lashes will have a life cycle of up to 8 weeks. Depending on the time it is applied, in time, your own lashes will fall off naturally causing the false lash to come off with it. With old lashes coming off and new lashes appearing, the set will eventually look more sparse than the initial set. To have them looking full like the first time you had the set applied, infills will recreate thickness and volume.

Q.   How do you have them removed?

As your lashes have a natural life cycle, you can either leave them to naturally fall off or you can come into to the salon and we can remove them for you. Strip lashes is the only type that can be removed by yourself using oil or vasaline because the glue type used is only temporary. We advise you to not pick or pull the lashes because this will cause you damage to your lashes and may kill the follicle which allows new lash growth.

Q.   Can you do my lashes like that?

With all lash types, there are different lengths, sizes, thickness and curls. If you have a particular size, thickness or curl in mind, do tell the lash artist on the day. If you are not sure of which type to have, the lash artist will make sure to find a look suitable to your eyes. No one wears the same type of lash because everyone has different eye shapes. A certain set may look good on your friend but not necessarily on yourself.
