FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. How do you look after them?

- Wear protective gloves when you are washing your dishes or doing the gardening to prevent the polish from chipping.
- Do make sure when washing your hands to dry them properly.
- Clean under your nails often to prevent infections.
- Come in for regular infills as instructed. Infills will not only keep the appearance better but it will also help remove any areas where water can seep under the enhancements which can cause infections.
- With Acrylic in particular, do make sure to have them completely removed and redone to refresh the acrylic every 4 months.
- If you have your nails long, please be aware that nail enhancements will break if you do not have a long enough nail plate to support the length. It is more advisable to start them off shorter and eventually grow longer to the length you require. This will enable you time to get used to long nails.
Q. Why do I need to have them Infilled?
General wear and tear will also cause the nails to lose its shine and shape. Your nails will also grow and leave a gap close to the cuticles. Having them filled in not only refreshes the appearance of your nails but it will also give the opportunity for the technician to see what else needs to be maintained. If there are lifts between your nail plate and the enhancement, the technician will need to remove any gaps to prevent infections due to trapped water.
Q. How do you have them removed?
Depending on the product would depend on the removal. Most powder based enhancements will need to be soaked by placing your nails in a bowl with the removal product. Gel Based products will be removed by wrapping your nails with the removal product in foils.

We have a high regard for health and safety and are certified by our local authority for licensing regarding our treatments. Annual inspections are held in the salon to make sure we follow regulations set. Our technicians are all qualified and are fully insured to carry out listed treatments.

BIAB GEL NAILS
Launching in July, the newest form of nail enhancement is BIAB Gel Nails. A great medium for nails that are not strong enough to have just Gel Polish. Tougher than gel and can be extended also. Although extra long extension is not recommended when using this product, it still overs a greater alternative to Acrylic nails or SNS.
Henna Brows
A great alternative that offers longer lasting brow shape without permanently applying pigment. General brow tinting allows colour to remain on the brows itself but lacks the ability to retain colour on skin. This treatment however enables the shape of the brows to remain longer on the skin by colouring the skin itself allowing shape to remain for weeks.
